A result may be promising
A first study may open an interesting direction. It may show a hypothesis that deserves further testing, without it becoming immediately a recommendation for the public.
What does reproducibility mean?
It means that other teams, using transparent methods, check whether they obtain similar results. Reproducibility can clarify whether an initial result was robust, context-dependent, or due to chance.
Why does it matter in DDW?
A field with studies of different sizes and designs needs independent confirmation. Therefore, literature syntheses and larger randomized studies are important before making broad clinical promises.
